MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION 2025
Venue: Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir, Hauz Khas, New Delhi
The Mother’s Day celebration at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Nivedita Vidyamandir was a heartwarming tribute to the spirit of motherhood, filled with love, creativity, and gratitude.
The event commenced with the arrival and felicitation of our Special Guest, Mrs. Jayshree Murarka ji, a devoted well-wisher of the institution who was warmly welcomed.
The program began with a soul-touching invocation dance performed by Joyta Dass, set to the devotional song ‘Meri Maa Ke Barabar Koi Nahin’, capturing the deep reverence for the divine mother.
Principal Pravrajika Jnanaprana, then addressed the gathering with a short, inspiring message on the significance of a mother’s role in a child’s life, followed by her recitation of a touching Hindi poem dedicated to all mothers, which deeply moved the audience.
The next part of the program featured two lively action songs by the youngest members of the school—children from Playgroup, Nursery, KG, and Grade 1—who charmed everyone with their innocent expressions and sweet performances.
This was followed by a confident English poem recitation by Atharv Porwal, celebrating the love, sacrifices, and blessings mothers bring into our lives.
Next came a vibrant group dance by students of Grades 3, 4, and 5, beautifully choreographed and accompanied by the emotional song ‘Meri Pyari Ammi’. Their performance was a perfect blend of joy and gratitude.
Adding a participative spirit to the celebration, the final round of the much-anticipated Dance Competition for Mothers was held, showcasing the enthusiasm, elegance, and heartfelt expressions of the mothers through their graceful moves.
Fun-filled games were then organized separately for mothers of pre-primary and primary students, creating an atmosphere of laughter, bonding, and playful competition.
Following this, our Special Guest Mrs. Jayshree Murarka ji shared a short, inspiring address appreciating the school’s efforts in celebrating motherhood with such depth and joy.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where the winning mothers of the dance competition and games were honoured with gifts and applause.
A heartfelt vote of thanks was extended to all mothers, participants, teachers, and staff for making the event a grand success.
Finally, all mothers were served a refreshment packet, consisting of a juice pack, Choco pie, biscuit packet, and Snickers chocolate, which added a sweet ending to a beautiful celebration.
