Excursion for Grade V Students – 31/01/2026 The school excursion was organized on 30/01/2025 for the students of Grade V. The students departed from the school at 8:00 a.m. and returned safely at 3:00 p.m. The excursion aimed to provide students with experiential learning by visiting historical, cultural, and religious landmarks of Delhi. The places visited included India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and Jantar Mantar, which helped students gain insight into India’s rich history and heritage. In order to inculcate respect for all religions and promote unity in diversity, students visited several places of worship such as Birla Mandir, the Buddhist Temple near Birla Mandir, Sacred Heart Church (the oldest church in Delhi), Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in Delhi), and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (the largest gurudwara in Delhi). At Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, students humbly partook in langar and actively engaged in seva by serving food, while teachers also participated in kitchen and serving seva, reinforcing values of humility, service, and equality. The excursion concluded with a visit to Deer Park, where students were delighted to see deer, ducks, and other wildlife, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. The excursion proved to be a memorable and enriching learning experience for all the students.
